The purpose of the project leading to this report on school climate and social fields is to explore school climate from the standpoint of existing assessment instruments and the views of master practitioners experienced in shaping more generative school cultures. The report is organized in three major parts: an overview of school climate instruments in use in the U.S. and Canada, a synthesis of the interviews, and reflections and implications for the future.
