SRF at Garrison Institute

Self-Realization Fellowship Regional

Weekend Retreat

In-Person at Garrison Institute

May 16 – May 19, 2025

We are pleased to announce this year’s Regional Weekend Retreat conducted by Self Realization Fellowship monastics from May 16 through May 19, 2025 at Garrison Institute, Garrison, New York.

Retreatants will have the option to attend for two or three nights, commencing on Friday, May 16 and ending by 2:00 p.m. ET, Sunday May 18 or Monday May 19.

The conducted retreat will include classes on Paramahansa Yogananda’s teachings and provide opportunities for group meditations and satsanga (informal talks). The retreat is open to SRF members and friends.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A SILENT RETREAT

Garrison Institute is a beautifully renovated former Capuchin monastery located on a bluff overlooking the Hudson River surrounded by forest and fields. It is about fifty miles north of New York City. The serene ambience of the Institute, its picturesque surroundings and the various trails, ponds, meadows, and scenic overlooks on its grounds are conducive to deep meditation and silent spiritual retreat.

Since the goal of the retreat is to interiorize our consciousness and minimize external distractions, retreatants are expected to maintain silence from the beginning of the first class on Friday through the conclusion of the last class on Monday. Because of the number of requests received, it is important that reservations be made well in advance directly through Garrison Institute.
