Leadership Council members Linda Lantieri, Tobin Hart and Mark Greenberg welcome participants to the November 16-18 symposium, “The Art and Science of Contemplative Teaching and Learning: Exploring Ways of Knowing.” The presenters invite participants to reflect upon why they decided to attend the event and what their intentions are for the weekend. To introduce the theme of “different ways of knowing,” Mark Greenberg shares the Tree of Contemplative Practices, a diagram created by the Center for Contemplative Mind in Society, which depicts a diverse array of activities that can serve as contemplative practices.
